Thank you very much for such a thorough and accurate documentation on installing Oracle 8i. Without it, I know it would take me much longer to get it working. Although this is not my first time installed Oracle, yet it was never easy. Your document saves me a lot of time.

This is an excellent (perhaps the best) guide on installing oracle8.1.7 on linux.
Installed successfully on my RH Linux 8.0.
